The Faculty Council, at its April 28, 2022, meeting, voted to approve a consistent term start date of the first day of the Academic Year for all University-level faculty governance positions. This change required revisions to both the Standing Rules of the Faculty Council and the Constitution of the Faculty. Any change to the Constitution requires approval of the Faculty. The Faculty vote, conducted via electronic ballot, overwhelmingly approved the change to the Constitution of the Faculty effective May 13, 2022. The updated Constitution can be found on the 'Governing Documents' page of the Faculty Governance website.
