Child and Family Development, Minor
The Minor in Child and Family Development provides opportunities for students to develop an overview of early learning and development, an understanding of early childhood issues, and insights into the role of families, as well as the role of child care in out-of-home experiences.
In order to declare the minor, students must have an overall GPA of at least 2.5. Students who declare the Minor in Child and Family Development are required to complete six courses (18 credits total) with a and maintain a GPA of at least 2.5 Overall and in the Minor. (and a grade of C or above in all courses) for a total of 18 credit hours. Minimum Grade of a “C” or better in the courses is required.
