HLTH 8601 - Ethics and Integrity in the Public Health Research and Practice Profession

Examines the ethical and integrity issues facing public health professionals may face in research, working in public health practice, research, teaching, and service. Topics include: responsible human and animal subjects research including research with vulnerable populations and communities, data falsification and fabrication; ethical issues in public health program implementation,; professional ethics; research with vulnerable populations, data falsification and fabrication, plagiarism; among students, ethics of working with students, publishing ethics,; human subjects research, and interactions with students working with the community. Fulfills the requirement of taking GRAD 8002.
