ANTH 3144. Evolutionary Anthropology. (3) Prerequisite: ANTH 2141 or permission of the instructor. The aim of this course is to familiarize students with the classic and contemporary literature and issues in evolutionary theory, particularly as applied to human origins. Topics include primate systematics, homology, adaptation, hierarchy, speciation, and sociobiology.
