INTL 3116. Cultures and Conflicts. (3) Cross-listed as ANTH 3116. This course will consider historical ties, geographical inter-connections and economic relationships that underlie contemporary issues involving culture and conflict. It will discuss issues of race, class, gender, religion, nationality and citizenship among variously situated population groups and the complicated issues that arise both in the international arena and inside today’s multicultural societies.
