DANC 1201. Foundations in Dance. (2) Co-requisite DANC 1280. An introduction to dance as a cultural practice, performing art and an interdisciplinary subject. Students will be oriented to the practices that constitute the dance discipline. Three contact hours. (Fall)

DANC 1280. Improvisation. (2) Pre-or corequisites: DANC1210 and DANC 1217. Exploring body movement in energy, time, and space in order to understand how movement becomes a language of expression. Three contact hours. (Spring Fall, On Demand)
