POLS 2220. Political Science Methods. (4) (W) Prerequisite: at least one introductory Political Science course and MATH 1100 or equivalent. This course builds the knowledge skills ability (KSA) of students, in other words increases their information literacy. Emphasis on how to do literature searches, write professional papers as political scientists, understand and calculate statistics, and manipulate data with computer statistical packages. Restricted to Political Science majors. Recommended to be taken before majors begin to take upper level courses. Three hours of lecture and one hours of computer laboratory per week. (Fall, Spring)
