UCOL 3050 3450. Teaching Internship. (1-3) Prerequisite:

Junior standing and permission Permission of the sponsoring unit

and supervising instructor. Pre-requisite or co-requisite: UCOL 3400. Students enrolled in the

internship will have a structured opportunity to develop

teaching-related skills by providing assistance to faculty

in the classroom and/or working in a structured

mentoring role in support units such as the University

Center for Academic Excellence. Duties will vary

depending upon the assignment but may include:

conducting review sessions, facilitating study skills

sessions, lecturing, assisting faculty member with

exams. May be repeated for credit up to six hours.

Graded on a Pass/No Credit basis. (Honors) (Fall,

Spring)
